About Our Instructors

Michele Sloan-Mulford

Michele is the owner of 1^st Choice Real Estate School and has been a licensed real estate broker since 1987. She is a National Certified Diversity (AHWD) instructor and an ARELLO Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI). In addition to online real estate courses, Michele teaches several live real estate courses including the NAR-required Quadrennial Code of Ethics, Fair Housing, Risk Management and Contracts. She is active at the local, state and national levels of the REALTOR organization. She is an approved real estate licensing and continuing education instructor in several states and a member of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA). Her enthusiasm for the real estate business makes Michele easy to approach and her courses fun and educational.

Julie Talken

Julie is a licensed real estate broker-salesperson and an ARELLO-Certified Distance Education Instructor (CDEI). She is the Director of Training Development for 1st Choice and an approved continuing education and licensing instructor in several states. Julie has a passion for teaching and designing training materials that break complex concepts into simple lessons that make it easier to understand the concept as a whole. Her background in information systems gives 1^st Choice Real Estate School the ability to offer easy-to-navigate coursework which allows students to enjoy real estate education and learn at the same time.
